HAROLD DAVIS

Harold Davis is a well-known software engineer and technology strategist. He is expert with .NET and Web services technologies.

He is the author of many best-selling books about programming and technology including: Visual Basic .NET Programming(Sybex, 2002), C# .NET Programming(Sybex, 2002), Red Hat Linux 6: Visual QuickPro Guide (Peachpit Press), Visual Basic Secrets (IDG Books), and Web Developer's Secrets (IDG Books).

Recent articles and white papers that he has written include:

Harold has been involved in executive evaluation of startegic alliances and mergers and acquisitions activity. He served as the Vice President of Strategic Development at YellowGiant Corporation, where he helped plan wireless localization services. He has served as a technology consultant to many of the most important high-technology companies, including Internet startups, web infrastructure players, and Fortune 1000 technology companies. He has been a Technical Director at Vignette Corporation and a Principal in the e-commerce practice at Informix Software.

Harold earned his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from New York University and his J.D. from Rutgers Law School.
